Let me tell you how much I love the North Star location of Visisble Changes. I live in freaking Austin and once a month to every six weeks I go down there to get my hair done. People say..""That's dumb. why do you do that?"" Why? Because it's your hair. And if you're lucky enough to have it, it should look amazing. I mean it's on your head. All day long. Bad haircut? Why not just get an ugly shirt and wear that all month? I drive all that way to see one man. The Greatest Hairstylist on Planet Earth. Gabriel. His skill and creativity knows no bounds. He's seriously Superman with the Scissors and Batman with the Colors. You know how you spend fifteen minutes trying to explain to your stylist what you want your hair to look like and then they just give you the horrific cut they were going to give you anyway? Yeah, you can talk in those vague terms to Gabriel and he will give you not only what you had in mind but make it even better. Also, if you have a celebrity you want it to look like, he will know exactly what you're talking about and how to do it. Really. He's done so many cuts on me for over fifteen years and always knows the coolest, most up to date styles. Add to that he is the nicest, funniest, most charming guy you could spend your afternoon with so you won't be bored sitting in the chair for all that time. And not just Gabriel. The entire staff from the front desk to the shampoo girls are friendly and talented. They know myself and my brother by name and are always helpful and pleasant. Try any of the stylists. My girlfriend even found one she liked and started going with me to San Antonio to get her hair done as well. Also, another of my friends was a skeptic about the drive until Gabriel cut his hair and then he started tagging along with us. Gabriel even went out of his way to fit him into his busy schedule. I've been going there for nearly twenty years since I was a teenager and I think it's only gotten better. Really, if you hate your haircut, you will kinda hate your life. Do something about it. Pros: You look fabulous. Isn't that why you went? Good rates too! Cons: It's in San Antonio:)
