I didnt move here to join a fraternity and party until all hours of the night! Aparments were supposedly ""re-done"". Not high quality work- cheapest blinds ever. The laundry facilities- WORST. The ""kids"" here party until all hours of night. Being north and paying more money than most of the other apartments we looked at- you would expect more. If you want to live in a place where absolutely NO rules need to be followed- heck, your dog can swim in the pool, and you can bring all of the drunk girls home from the bars and they can giggle and scream as loud as they can, while your buddies do cannonballs and play volleyball at 3am- please, most of the people who don't live here seem to know the pass code to the gate, so feel free. Anyone will give it to you. Pool parties on the weekdays go until at least 11pm or 12am, (never mind the pool area closing at 10pm) - then stay longer, so you can get louder and party just as hard. Young drunk girls squealing, yelling and laughing every 2 minutes on the minute will just become a regular background for you. We are supposed to live in a gated, secured community- but half the time the gates are unlocked. Please, half the people who party here are not residents. If you live in a lower level unit- BE PREPARED to hear your neighbors moves upstairs. Parking is horrible unless you pay for 2 spots. Management didn't even respond to my complaints and never addressed several move in problems on my check sheet. It is nice being next to Loop 1, but it's not worth having to be in this ""fraternity"" atmosphere 24-7. If you live on the first floor- be prepared to have your place sprayed every three weeks, although now I can't even open my windows or I hear the bimbos and drunks at all hours. I was pleasantly surprised to not be living in a community with tons of kids- but these inconsiderate drunks are worse than kids. It's 2:20am on a Tues. and I can here the drunks. Pros: Good/Fast maintenance staff- has lots of amenities. Cons: Be prepared to hear the partying all day & night- and hope you don't live below someone
