I think authentic is the best way to describe this little restaurant. From the outside you are mislead as to what it will be like it looks like a little deli from the outside. Once inside you are immediately greeted and you can either order at the counter to go or be seated. The restaurant itself is small but has the community atmosphere about it. Seems like it can get loud however if you are familiar with the culture this is a warm, inviting and familiar atmosphere that you would be used to. The lamb has been the best I have had in the city thus far and I have grown up here! Perfectly cooked (not tough and not soft and grainy at all and almost just melts in your mouth). I will say that the chicken Gyro is average here. If you cant decide what you want you can try the mixed grill which lets you sample everything you could possibly be deciding between. The falafel is not dry and even though fried isn?t dripping with oil and too heavy. Although limited the wine selection fits the food perfectly. Not to mention for NYC it is very moderately priced for what you get! Pros: the food, service and price Cons: the seating is limited
