I have been intimately involved with Charles and his shears for the last four years, following him wherever he resides, whether it be Moe's in Vancouver, Barbarama in NE, or Grand Paradise, his cousin's salon, downtown. This is not a pain to get to- Smart Park is across the street and is cheap. A MAX line runs here. At least 10 Tri-met bus lines go downtown. Downtown is super easy to access, and GP is right there in the Standard Insurance Tower...no more excuses!
Why go to Charles? He is a COLOR EXPERT. I have see some ""professional"" dye jobs in my day that don't even come close to Charles' mastery. One look at his own hair will tell you he can work some color.
Also, he knows how to cut hair...all types of hair. Dudes, chicks, kids...short, long...you're gonna walk out of there with style and substance. I have given out dozens of cards for my man b/c my haircut gets compliments every day. I have short hair and my hair grows out fast...but with his cut, it grows out beautifully. What normally would last me 4 weeks from another stylist gets me 6-8 with Charles' cut...because its got styling and texture in all the right spots. He's a dynamo. Go see this man.
I went to five different stylists in Portland before staying with Charles- I'm VERY PICKY when it comes to my hair, its my defining feature. I have converted several other friends who now call Charles' chair home. Now its your turn.
