Review content:
I went to see Dr Barkopoulos 6 times and EVERY single time, his office called to reschedule. The last time the office called to reschedule me AGAIN, I said that the next time they did it they would have to give me 48 hours notice, as I am required to give them. When I did eventually get in to see him, I would have to wait at least half an hour because he was behind schedule. I understand that emergencies happen, however, I do not believe that every single time I saw him over several months that an emergency occurred. Rather, I think that he and his staff are not able to properly manage his schedule. As a matter of fact, the very first time I called and booked a first morning appt, his office asst said, ""Oh just so you know, he never arrives to the office on time in the morning, so it will probably be later than the time I give you."" That should have been a big red flag.
I do believe he is an excellent doctor, however, I can't deal anymore with the scheduling issues and am going to find a new dr, which is a shame, really.
Pros: very good psychiatrist
Cons: long waits, cancelled appts
