Review content:
After much research and a recommendation, decided on Aquagrill for a special occasion dinner. We were seated promptly for our 8pm Sunday reservation. Our waitress was all business - no suggestions or direction - just there to take your order. Tuna carpaccio appetizer was fresh, nicely presented and tasted good. Tuna entree was just OK, tasted like tuna over vegetables and sauce from a chinese takeout place. Cod entree was oily and another average dish. We ordered the warm apple tart from the ever-so-friendly waitress and several minutes later she came back to tell us they sold out earlier in the evening. We said we would just skip desert but then a different woman came back and said in its place they would be giving us something else, their compliments. I think it was a pear tart? I'm not sure, it was average like the rest of the meal but it was a nice gesture. The same woman who told us about the complimentary desert had also done damage control with the table next to us when they sent back their huge clams they ordered steamed. She had them taken back to the kitchen and cooked up a different way hoping they'd like them. I think it worked. This place doesn't live up to any hype around it.
Pros: food seemed fresh, good variety of seafood
Cons: expensive and not worth it
