If you're in the mood for stellar seafood in the Village, combined with just the right ambiance, Aquagrill is the spot. It's a sunny place, even when it's bleak outside, and the food is superb. Their raw bar probably has the most extensive list of oysters I've ever seen and it was here that I learned about their differences, thanks to an awesome waiter who was willing to teach us.
In addition, they can never do wrong with fish, however prepared. I don't have a favorite, since they also offer so many types and preparations. Hence the reason I couldn't tell you about their steak and chicken dishes, which I'm sure are also very good. When the weather is warm, the patio is a nice place to sit. But as it overlooks lower Sixth Avenue, it might not be the most peaceful.
