My wife and I decided to try Riptide for her birthday. I made online reservations and filled in the box that lets you tell the Maitre D' of any special requests. I said that it was my wife's birthday. This was a total waste of time. We arrived early and sat at the bar to enjoy a drink before dinner. The base speaker was so loud that we could not carry on a conversation. Not really a deal breaker but needs to be corrected. We were seated with a nice family of four and the waiter took our drink orders and returned with our drinks a reasonable amount of time. After that the service was down hill, it was like once we got our drinks the waiter just disappeared for the rest of the night. He never came back to refill the ""Endless soda refills"" or to get refills for anything. Never came back to check on us at all. He completely forgot the soup portion of the meal for the entire table. Seriously how do you forget to bring an entire course. Then after every body was finished he brought the check for the other family but my wife and I sat there for 15 minutes before I stood up and got his attention so he could bring us our check. He never ask if we wanted dessert. Nothing was done for my wife's birthday and when I mentioned to him that he forgot the soup portion of the meal he thought that it was funny and his eyes were red and half closed. It was the most unprofessional service we have ever received.
Pros: Good food
Cons: The worst waiter service I have ever experienced.
