Review content:
It is hard to find good child care. At Whiz Kids, staff turnover is high and obviously pay is poor and there are no benefits; staff don't seem to be trained in how to deal with children. It is extremely chaotic in the late afternoon, when there are generally 15-20 children being supervised by one adult. No toys, no books, no stimulation. Management doesn't kick out children who cause problems with other children, i.e. bullies. One afternoon, I watched one of the bullies turn another child upside down, and that child banged her head on the tile floor. The adult who was sitting there ignored that child while she was crying. Pros: Extended hours Cons: Negligent supervision
