Review content:
I breed chinchillas and when 2 of my girls got in a fight, one of them came out with her head completely scalped. Not really sure what to do I rushed her into a non exotic vet and kept going back for a few weeks until I realized that her head was beginning to abcess and that she was just not acting right. I called Riverwoods and told them what was going on and they got me in that very same day even though they were completely booked. When I got there there was no wait, I was placed right in a room with the Doctor examining her. She was VERY gentle with her and sent her home on a few medications as well as the supplies to clean out her wound. I continued going back for recheck appointments for about 8 weeks until her head had finally healed.
