Me and my friends go to Tonic quite often, and quite often it's the same old sh**, same overcrowded weekend hotspot, same music videos that make you feel like the DJ hits the repeat button by accident far too often. The music is usually too loud, the murray hill crowd is too corny (even though I'm one myself now), and it's just that it was a fun, new, exciting atmosphere, and anyone who goes their will love it until they realize that it's deja vu everytime you step foot inside Tonic. But it's definetly no bar like it in the area, always decent food, massive TVs everywhere you look, and it's nice to see familiar faces pouring and serving drinks. Most of the staff is pretty friendly, attentive, and some actually seem genuine.
