I brought in my 2005 Impala thinking I was going to need a major Transmission Repair. Rich (very friendly and funny guy) had my transmission inspected by one of his technicians and explain to me there was some damage but, there was no way for them to know to what extend until they would drop the transmission, open it and inspect for damage. They explain to me the cost of the inspection ($325.00) and also told me it would be credited toward the repairs if, I decided I wanted my transmission repaired. I agreed to the inspection, and Rich called me the next day and told me there was some damage and quoted me $1650.00 which it was a lot less then $3800.00 which the dealer had quoted me. A couple of other transmission shops in town had quoted me over $2800.
