from the door you feel like home!!! just got back from my Houston vacation and the trip to Speak Easy on OST is my favorite part to talk about. we were seated immediately and our drink order was the very next priority for the lovely waitress who greeted us. they served all my favorite spirits. did i mention the music didn't stop and it was an awesome mix of old and new rhythm and blues? the crowd felt like my family. no odd stares and an offer to dance was just an offer to dance not a commitment for the night. this is the type of place my mom and aunts used to talk about.
Pros: great atmosphere; courteous service; respectful patrons
Cons: get there early for good parking; inside is a little tight
