Review content:
My mother and I came to A Brush of Excellence for the first time about a month ago and Brenda Reece was the stylist that did our hair. We paid $140.00 over all for both of our hair and my mother got a perm and I got a color service. My mother, who is a very kind person and doesn't like confrontation did not complain about her perm, when Brenda fried her bangs and she is just now growing hair back in a bald spot in her bangs where she left the perm in too long. My color service, which was not distributed evenly throughout, and she did not blowdry my hair she made me brush the tangles from my hair and dry it myself. I told her I was not happy with the distribution of the highlights and she simply told me to part it a different way. I returned a month later when my mom finally told me what had happened to her bangs and I reported to Brenda that I had visited another salon who covered the color and I paid $90.00 at a high end salon where they brought me a drink, and dried and styled my hair and also put two different colors throughout my hair. She even told us after she finished when we came in that she had given us a deal, when really she had ripped us off. The other stylists reported to me when I came back that she had been shorting other customers and not fixing the issues with customers. All of the other stylists there were super nice and tried to help me fix the issue, but she simply told me to go on and report her.
