Review content:
My cat got these weird blistery things on her forehead at the beginning of the week. I hoped it would go away, but when she woke me up on Wednesday with a friendly head butt on my forehead, there was b!ood (yikes!) and I knew I better take care of it right away. Being new to town, I found VCA animal hospital and a coupon for first visit, I called and they fit me in that day at 11 am. The wait was brief as I filled in all the forms. The vet I got appeared very knowledgeable. She checked for parasites and did some skin tests. Then told me it was likely to be an allergy and that she should get a steroid shot and antibiotics to prevent infection from the blisters. I had to put a collar on the cat for 2 weeks. Sure enough my cat recovered promptly. The total cost of the treatment with visit and $30 off coupon was $110. Seemed a little pricey to me, but it was good treatment. Pros: Immediate service, knowledgeable and thorough vet Cons: Street parking, receptionist was annoying
