Authentic Romanian food in Austin?? You don't go here for the atmosphere, but the food makes it worth the trip -- even if it's not across the Big Pond. I was skeptical at first when I found this restaurant with a name that is better suited for a Halloween outing, but don't let that ""scare"" you off. Our hearty dishes were prepared as if they came out of an international cooking school. The prices were just right -- very affordable, and the food tasted expensive. If they would create more Romanian atmostphere for this cozy place and rename it something like ""Bucharest Bistro"", ""Transylvania Tastes"", or ""Romanian Village"" , this place would make it more onto the Bon Appetit map of Austin. The main attraction (the food), however, is already there. Pros: Food was fantastic! Cons: Ambience needs some work.
