Review content:
Well, I have read the other reviews and it seems like people think they paid too much for the quality of food and service. In my opinion, having eaten at numerous sushi restaurants in dozens of cities, you get exactly what you pay for here. The sushi was good, but not great. It was fresh, and the ahi was exceptional. You can watch them prepare your food if you sit at the bar (which we did), and the sushi chef was fastidious in washing his hands, as well as in keeping the prep area clean. We ordered several dishes and, aside from the bread pudding, we did not have a bad dish. The service was spotty at first, as they were dealing with the remnants of a wedding reception, but picked up appreciably after the reception was over. Overall, for the price we paid in Portland, we were not disappointed. Pros: Ahi tuna (fresh), service, price Cons: Limited selection
