Businiess name:  The Riviera Palm Springs, A Tribute Portfolio Resort

Review content:
My wife and I chose the Riviera since it had been quite awhile since we had spent anytime in Palm Springs (...vs. Palm Desert, Ranch Mirage, La Quinta, etc.), and we were looking for sun and solitude. We read some prior reviews and were a bit concerned that, as seniors, the ""solitude"" part may be a challenge. In fact, the place is largely couples and groups in the 30/40s, the majority of which are really the partying type. Recognizing we were really not the ""core"" resort guest, we made early arrival and room arrangements in advance. This worked out GREAT. The help was very very friendly and hospitable, our room (Bldg. 7) was far from the partying crowd, and we planned our days to enjoy the facility when the people density was the lowest. The resort is very convenient to the shopping and restaurants of PS and is very accessible to the 10 Freeway. It is very self-contained with lots of amenity outlets right on property. We enjoyed ourselves and felt quite refreshed on the ride home.
