Review content:
I saw an average review for Kinhdo, and I had to protest. This place is one of the best kept secrets of the cities that's right in front of everyone's nose. Although the decor and exterior aren't quite as glitzy as some places down the street and the cuisine doesn't have the cute dollop of brie cream garnished with frisee that you find downtown, the food is so fresh and fantastic, that you'll be surprised the bill is half of what you'd spend someplace fancier. Portions are hearty, the atmosphere is pleasant, and the service is warm and prompt. The menu may seem run-of-the-mill, but the selection is large, and the food you get has a unique characteristic that separates it from King ""Stuff your face with wantons in the mall."" The flavors are distinct with spices neatly proportioned and a strong sense of fresh herbs. I've eaten at my fair share of East Asian places, and the food at Kinhdo can match wits with some of the more ""designer"" destination restaurants. Definitely try thier curry dishes. They boast a good kick without sending smoke out your ears. Thier egg-rolls are wrapped in an unusually crisp and flaky shell and sport a zesty fish sauce. The soup is a bit mediocre. Good veggie options. Not quite the place to go for your diamond jubilee, but certainly a thrifty yet smart restaurant that should impress the most discerning guest, unless they're more concerned about the diamonds on the soles of their shoes than the food.
Pros: Great food, Reasonable Price, Versatile - not formal but smart
Cons: No delivery, Exterior not spectacular, Menu is diverse, but nothing exotic
