Butter is a wonderful hole-in-the-wall bar that you probably wouldn?t feel compelled to go in if you were just walking by, however, I suggest a visit. It?s always full of people ready for a good time, there?s great music and $2 Jello Shots. While the rest of their drinks aren?t much of a bargain, they are no more expensive than any other bar in San Francisco and with the $2 Jello shots you?re sure to drink less of the other drinks (if not, you?ll regret it the next morning). Also for those of you that tend to get the drunken munchies, Butter also has a small snack bar that serves pretty much deep-fried anything, from twinkies to macaroni & cheese.
