Review content:
I have not been very impressed with the Thai in H-town, but the food at Sawadee is unquestionably good. Been here twice now, and both visits were quite satisfying, although my main course entrees were better the first time around. Definitely try that chicken with sweet basil and hot peppers. The penang chicken is also very well put together. Avoid what I had the second time around-namely, chicken with kaffir lime leaves and green beans. The dish was obnoxiously greasy, and it tasted like the chef poured half a bottle of fish sauce into the pan. Overall, the service is capable and responsive, and the food is definitely worth a try. More authentic than other Thai joints.
