You people need to get over yourself. I drive 850 miles to get there. Best food in the city. Yeah so it is crowded! Duh - it is great food of course it is crowded. Thelma herself is the sweetest lady on the planet. I have been going to Thelma's since she opened. Back when very few of us who worked down town knew she existed. I have tried every item on the menu and they are all exceptional. My personal favorite is the BBQ stuffed baked potato. I dare you to try to eat the whole thing! Thelmas is absolutely fantastic!!! A rare find in the city these days. You might have to wait in line for a while but it is worth it. Don't like the full trash cans - empty them - help a little old lady out. Thelma is an absolute treasure and her food is out of this world. So go in and enjoy the food and get over yourself.
