Review content:
To complain about this theatre is pointless. River Oaks has been around for over 50 years and the fact that it is still running is enough to garner respect. The upstairs theatres don't even compare to modern theatres. but there's something about this theatre that just makes it feel special. Maybe it's the applause that usually follow most movies. Maybe it's Rocky Horror on Saturday. Whatever it is, you have to go here just to get away from the mainstream sometimes.
Pros: great movies, cheaper food, awesome crowd
Cons: small seats, expensive, no parking
