SO, I AM PAGING THROUGH THE REVIEWS OF THE OASIS ON THIS SITE AS I PREPARE TO WRITE MY OWN. I NOTICE THAT THE RECENT NEGATIVE POSTS ARE FOLLOWED UP WITH POSTS THAT ARE SO FILLED WITH DELUSIONS OF GRANDURE THAT ONLY THE OWNER OF THE RESTURANT COULD HAVE WRITTEN THEM HIMSELF/HERSELF TO TRY AND KEEP HIS/HER RATINGS ON THE HIGH SIDE. PLEASE LOOK AT THE POST PRIOR TO THIS ONE AND THE FEW BEFORE THAT. NO PERSON THAT I HAVE TALKED TO LOVES THE NEW OASIS NOR DO THEY LOVE IT SO MUCH THAT THEY WOULD WRITE A POST TRYING TO CONVINCE US THAT IT IS THE MOST FANTASTIC RESTURANT IN THE WORLD. NO PERSON WOULD EVER POST, ""It was fantastic!!! It was, and will always be, one of my most memorable experiences"". YOU REMEMBER BIRTHDAY'S AND HOLIDAY'S NOT A CRAPPY MEAL WITH THE WORST SERVICE IN THE WORLD! I FIND IT VERY PATHETIC TO TRY AND CONVINCE US THAT THIS RESTURANT IS A FINE DINING EXPERIENCE! I WITNESSED 3 OTHER TABLES IN MY VICINITY SEND THEIR FOOD BACK FOR ONE REASON OR ANOTHER. I HAVE NEVER SEEN THIS MANY TABLES SEND BACK FOOD IN ALL MY 45 YEARS OF EATING AND CERTAINLY NEVER IN ONE SITTING! SO IN LIEU OF MY TERRIBLE REVIEW OF THIS EYESORE ON LAKE TRAVIS. I WILL LEAVE YOU WITH: GO TRY THE OASIS FOR YOURSELF, YOU'LL NEVER GO BACK! DON'T LET THESE REVIEWS FOOL YOU. GIVE IT A SHOT AND ENJOY THE WORST SERVICE EVER AND THE MOST BLAND UNEVENTFUL FOOD ON THE LAKE. BY THE WAY, BEFORE YOU GO CHECK THE POST ON THIS MANAGER GUY, CLAY IS HIS NAME I BELIEVE. IT SOUNDS LIKE HE IS A REAL PIECE OF WORK!
