Save the bird! Eat a Monster!
Those two phrases saved what is not a North Side legend. Initial confusion about whether Freebirds served free-range chicken combined with the distinctly non-country atmosphere led the Bird to a slow start. Now, after multiple expansions, it has reached Houston with all of the flavor and fire (Long Live Death Sauce) that have made it a mainstay of the Aggie diet. This is low-cost, high volume taste explosion sure to satisfy.
So Save the Bird. Eat a Monster.
