Review content:
I actually really like the Edwards theater. And when a couple asks me about going to a theater, I recommend it. It can seem majestic due to its size and lighting. The smells are often of popcorn and candy, like a theater should be.
If a family asks me, I point them in the direction of AMC Dunvale or something like that. It's just too expensive unless you're trying to impress someone. :)
Generally, I'd say Edwards theater is great once in a while, but it gets so costly that I prefer it only for epic films. Iron Man. Star Trek. Avatar. I've seen those here, but for the less-anticipated films I like River Oaks. :) Simple. Nice. Comfy. And generally quiet.
Pros: Cool atmosphere. Trendy, but good theaters.
Cons: Expensive. Often overly-crowded.
