I'm hooked on this place. Both of us have a lot of experience with Indian food (I grew up with an Indian family) and we both LOVE it. It's inexplicably quiet/not full, but you know you've found ""authentic"" when you see Indian families there for their own celebrations. Great local gem in the Glendale neighborhood. Eat a really early lunch and come VERY hungry because you WILL end up eating until you feel like you'll pop. The menu is broad enough that everyone will find something; we usually order one combo ('thali') and one entree and end up with plenty of leftovers. The only drawback is the 24hour news playing on the TV in the corner but you'll be so happy that you won't really notice it. If you're concerned about spice then order a mango lassi to drink with your meal; I disagree with the person who posted that their food is too spicy. You can always ask for it to be mild (and they ask how you want it).
