Review content:
It was my son in law's 25th birthday last weekend, and we decided to go to Garson restaurant and see for ourselves if they are up to the par for what other reviews have said. We were told at the time of making reservation that they have belly dancer performing on Friday nights at 8:30 and live band on Sat night. We decided to go on Sat night. Our group were 12 people, when when we arrived, there was no wait, and we were directed to our table immediately. The ambiance, and our table location looked very nice. There were two other parties at the restaurant as well on opposite side of us. Since it was our first visit to the restaurant, the server suggested the family patter of appetizers and entrees, so we could try all the most authentic Persian appetizers and entrees. It was breath taking. very nicely done. It started with fresh herb, cheese, radishes served with fresh baked bread in the clay oven made in front of us.The appetizers included ""Hummos, warm eggplant,, and Olivieh (creamy chicken salad), and yogurt with cucumber"". The entree platter was included of ""Sultani(one ground beef kabob and one skewer of stripped rib eye) Garson special(one skewer of boneless chicken and one skewer of chunks of tender rib eye(chengeh), fish kabob , and lamb shish kabobs"". All were accompanied with grilled tomatoes, onions and peppers, and served with platter of two kinds of rice(while and dill) with side order of Zereshk (barberry) and sour cranberry mixed in with almonds and pistachios. It was beautifully done, for deserts we have Persian ice cream (vanilla mixed with saffron, pistachios), cheese cake, and tiramasu. I did not try try the infamous Persian tea, but I heard it was very good. The live music made us go to the dance floor and dance most of the night. The solo singer was a Persian performer from London. We had the great experience, and we definitely will go back.
