I was very frustrated with the hearing aids I had because it sounded like I was talking in a barrel, always missing key words in conversations, and the background noise was so loud it drowned out what people were talking about. That was until I found Cook Hearing and Balance. They were compassionate about my hearing problems. Thanks to Dr. Cook and Lori Cook I can finally hear like normal. I moved from in-the-ear hearings aids to receiver-in-the-ear. Oh my, what a difference. I could hear normal, and not like I had my finger in my ear all the time. They set low on my ears so my glasses do not interfere with them, and they are so light weight I forget I have them on. I now have volume settings so I can control background noise, car noise, and just hear the conversation. The bonus with my hearing aids is I also have a wireless connection to my television. Instead of the sound travelling to my hearings aids from the television, the sound goes directly in my ears like a Bluetooth wireless headset except you do not need the headset.
