Review content:
I'd heard of Green Pastures over the last eight years , but, we hadn't eaten there until last Friday night. Afterwards my wife and I both regretted not trying it sooner. The Potato and Onion Gallete and Seared Ahi Tuna appetizers were perfect. The prime rib was terrific, but the sesame crusted salmon with tempura lobster was even better. Bananas Foster was great and is always fun to watch being made. Regardless of what you spend, I think you'll feel like it was worth every penny. It's really special. I think Sara was our waitress and she took great care of us without being too formal -- just perfect. Before dinner be sure to have a drink in the 1888 Bar upstairs. The restaurant and bar have a quiet charm that is a great contrast to the crowded nouveau riche establishments around town that really don't compare to Green Pastures.
Pros: Food, Service, Amosphere
Cons: Limited Wine List but, some very good wines, are still offered.
