I'm picky, and have very tricky hair. Ever since I've been going to Maureen at Judy Jetson (probably around 4 years now), not only am I happy, but I get compliments on my hair ALL the time. This goes for both cut and color. She's helped me through some tough grow out phases, and successfully dyed my highlighted hair to match my brown roots -- which I wouldn't have thought possible after so many previous failed attempts with other stylists to get back to my natural color. The salon itself is relaxed and fun, and even though it's celebrated amongst local hipsters, the less adventurous shouldn't be intimidated -- I've seen all types walk out happy.
Pros: Hip -- but not *too* hip, great location, good selection of products
Cons: Not exactly cheap -- but compare it to Newbury Street prices and you'll never complain.
