I love JJ's 8/24/2007

I've been going to Nichole for more than a year and love her. She consistently gives me great, slightly funky cuts, which is exactly what I want. Sure, it's $50 for a haircut, but I find that pretty average around here. Warning: don't expect people there to be super nice and friendly. The attitude is part of the allure. Personally it doesn't bother me a bit. more

The only place I trust... 3/17/2007

I've been going there for a little over a year and Ive never had a bad experience. I go to Tracey who listens to what you want and can tweak it to fit your hair type. It can be a little pricier, but I always now I'm going to look great when I leave. more

I've been going for 6 years... 10/27/2006

and have never had a bad experience. I can't vouch for all the stylists, but I see Lauren and have sent 3 of my best friends and my husband to her as well, and ALL of them were very happy. Lauren is amazing with color... both natural and funky... and the fact that four women with very different styles and 1 man all agree says a lot. more

I'll list in bullets because I don't want to waste my time: - Overpriced - Novice stylists - Pompous attitude - Terrible haircuts - Stuck up management - un-apologetic when they mess up. You're better of going to Salon Luna right in Porter Square. more

Not the Best Salon 3/18/2006

I used to walk by this salon many times along Mass Ave and wonder what it was like. I finally decided to try it last fall and get a hair cut there. The lady who cut my hair was very nice, but she didn't cut it the way I had described. The salon is nice looking on the inside, but it has nothing to do with the Jetsons or anything space-like, which I found strange. Not a terrible place, just not a very good haircut. Perhaps it was just the stylist. more

Funky hair salon between Harvard and Porter Square 9/2/2005

Judy Jetson's is the place to go for truly unique hair styles -- especially if you are interested in some bright colors. You don't have to dye your hair pink though to have a good experience. I go there for a more conservative style/natural colors and have always been pleased. Going there is much more enjoyable than the more snooty salons on Newbury St and you'll look just as good. more
