Review content:
I've been coming to VC for about five years now, and I still love it as much as I did when I went on a first date there. The man I went there with now lives with me in DC, but he still picks up my favorite dish and brings it back on the airplane whenever he has to go to Texas.
VC is lovely - calm, quiet-ish, has a sweet staff, and, Oh! amazing dishes. I say this as a vegetarian who knows only meat-eaters. I've brought parents, friends, sisters from all over the country to dine here - and they all still bring up the food. Tofu with Garlic Sauce! Here is a dish even meat-eaters adore! The fish dishes I've tried are amazing, the vermicelli bowls are incredible. Basically, this place haunts my dreams and I'm gonna post up there next week when I'm in Houston.
