Our house, built in 1908, used to be a duplex, so we had 2 (ancient) boilers; one to heat the main floor, the other to heat the second floor. When we decided to convert the duplex into a single family home, we had our heating company at that time (Not Hinding) come in and 'rig' the boilers so that there was 1 main boiler to heat and the 2nd would kick in to help if needed. When the 2nd boiler stopped working, that same company came in and said that it would cost a lot. We had learned that this other company wasn't meeting our expectations, more so that they accidentally didn't hook something up correctly and it could have become a serious issue.
