I love this place. The food is fresh and tasty. The staff is terrific (the guys who work the early shift always bring a smile to my face along with a delicious cappuccino and a slice of their banana bread). And, their prices are surprisingly reasonable given the quality of the food, which is consistently terrific (more than I can say for many other spots in the immediate neighborhood). For me though, the big bonuses of this place are A. it's in my hood and B. they have been terrific about catering to my cow's milk allergy. Last week, I had a delicious bowl of dairy-free but creamy red pepper soup and a chorizo and manchego sandwich. Yum. Pros: great food, service and coffee and garden out back Cons: three stops into brooklyn on the L train, limited menu, just stopped being BYOB
