Review content:
I moved a woman, I'm caring for was in an assisted living I won't name. They were horrible and got bedbugs. She ended up in the hospital for 2 weeks. I looked at 5 different places before finding Park Manor of South Belt. It's clean and the first thing I noticed when I walked in was the last of stink I had found in every other place I looked at. It is not perfect but my friends biggest complaint is that her bed isn't made when she wants it to be. (It's always made when I get there.) She's wheelchair bound and gets physical therapy on a regular basis. She likes the staff and has many friends that she often rolls to their rooms to see. They have parties and activities. She plays Bingo every other day. The food is not the best tasting but you have to accommodate all the clients and their health. Park Manor has bent over backwards to help me out with her, because I'm new at caring for the elderly. They have been so kind and caring. I know no place is perfect but it's better than most. I'm a Nurse and seen a lot of horrible places but this is not one. I'm very comfortable with her being there. Her Dr sees her once a week and she loves him. She knows the majority of staff by name (when she can remember them). I give this place a thumbs up.
