Review content:
Recently dined at F.A.B for dinner and had a very nice time. Although I hate that my beloved Brasserie Le Coze would ever relocate from the stately Lenox address to a downtown venue, once inside, I enjoyed myself. I had a glass of champagne at the bar with my wife before we sat down for dinner and enjoyed the beautiful surroundings, despite it being a little empty for a Friday night. I guess thats the recession for you. Our server for the evening was a young woman named Mila, and if I ever go back I will ask for her everytime. My wife and I only get so many nights out together and when we do something always goes wrong. Mila, however, made this very rare night out for us one of the best. We shared the duck pate, which was very good and of course I had to have the skate wing, which was also beautiful and reminded me of the many nights at Le Coze. My wife had the roast chicken, perfectly cooked and moist. For dessert, we had a hard time making a decision, but again Mila came to the rescue. She recommended the Apple Tart, also one of my favorites from long ago. It's good to see that some traditions are able to be carried on. Obviously, the kitchen cares enough to know the history behind that food and so did our server. I miss the old Le Coze, but I will definately come back to F.A.B., it is a gem hidden in downtown but people need to remember. Pros: Memories, Food, Service Cons: What was so wrong with Buckhead?
