I was disappointed with the cake we bought for my son's first birthday party. We are giving them a 1 star rating as the cake itself tasted ok but the decorations looked like an amateur did them. Did they have a first year cake decorator make our cake? The cake was missing decorative features that had been agreed upon and did not even have Happy Birthday written on it. For the price the cake cost, I had higher expectations. I should have had Frosted Art make my son's cake. At least then I could justify the price as Frosted Art has proven their cake decorating abilities to me in the past. I had a different party for my son out of state and the cake was 100 times better (taste and decorations) for half the price. I spent $200 for a cake I could have made look better with a few cake decorating classes at Central Market. I will NEVER get a cake from Delicious Cakes again. I will also tell all my friends and family to choose a different baker for their dessert needs.
