Review content:
The Grass Patch installed the sod in the front yard for my new Standard Pacific home I had built. The sod they put down is full of weeds. I spend about an hour each night since moving in (2 weeks now) and I still haven't pulled all the weeds. Also, before we closed, they came out to do some work on the sprinklers they installed and they replaced some patches of sod. Each piece of sod they replaced is dead. I have brown rectangles all over the yard. I know Standard Pacific went the cheapest route to get the sod installed, but I would steer clear of having The Grass Patch do any work at your house. I will very likely have to hire someone to come out and tear all of the grass out and do the job correctly. I recommend getting Surface Scapes, from Temple, for your sod needs. They laid sod in my backyard and were very professional. Two weeks later and not a single weed and the grass is as green as when they installed it. Do yourself a favor and stay away from The Grass Patch.
