Review content:
This place far surpasses any eatery in the New Braunfels area. Nowhere else can you find such a wide variety of food options, ambiance, first class service, and high quality food. The food is typically described as american, but I find it to be more fusion; they have menu choices in all categories: asian-fusion (wontons), italian (shrimp carbonara, fettuccini alfredo), southwestern (SW shromp pasta, chicken guadalupe), and of cource, american (meatloaf, pork chops, steaks, seafood). Almost more enticing than the food is the atmoshpere. One dining area overlooks the Guadalupe River, while the other is anchored by 30ft ceilings and a rustic stone fireplace. I don't think it's hard to find. The parking lot and sign is directly on the main road (Gruene Rd), but the restaraunt is located behind another building so you have the best view of the river and sunset. Pros: Huge portions, ambience, sunset view, high quality food/ingredients, great for dates Cons: Can be a long wait on Friday, Saturday nights
