I found out the hard way that there's no statute in Denver covering how much notice your landlord has to give before raising your rent. Under new management, they just raised my rent for the 3rd time this year, and they've never bothered to tell me before I paid it. They just post a mysterious demand on your door and make you call to find out what it's for. First it was the $100 ""month-to-month"" fee, then they raised it by $50 dollars in April and now an additional $50 for May. My neighbors tell me they did the same thing, but that they were happy to waive the late fee and the increase in rent if you sign a new lease... which just tells me this is their tactic to get you on a new lease. Pros: Nice views Cons: Staff, maintenance issues, price shoots up when lease ends
