Like any other Houstonian on a diet, I was in search for a healthy meal loaded with flavor. My friend from work recommended Cavatore Italian Restaurant a couple of weeks ago. She could not stop talking about the casual atmosphere and delicious food. So last Friday my boyfriend and I decided to try it. We were greeted by a hostess that made us feel extremely welcomed. We were seated in the main room and our waiter greeted us. My boyfriend and I felt like the staff was very friendly and it seemed as if they were excited we were there. I read through the menu and searched for a healthy option. The Petti Di Pollo Alla Griglia immediately caught my eye. I chose gluten free and whole wheat pasta and ordered a side of spinach. I loved that Cavatore lets you chose between regular pasta and whole wheat pasta. This was perfect for my diet! We sat and listened to the piano player as we waited for our food. Our food arrived shortly after we ordered it. My chicken was cooked to perfection and was loaded with flavor. My spinach and whole wheat pasta were also very appetizing. My boyfriend and I both agreed that Cavatore would become a regular dining spot for us. My meal was healthy and loaded with flavor. I was also very satisfied with the service. Cavatore is doing a great job! Can't wait to go back!
