Review content:
as two reformed southerners and long time east village residents, we know good southern food when we have it and this place hits the nail on the head every single time. it is admittedly slammed for brunch and there can be a bit of a wait, and the wait staff are clearly running themselves ragged, but once seated we've never once encountered anything but warm and friendly service.. is this the kind of place where someone will greet you at the door and say "hi my name is mindi-with-an-i, and i'll be your server today?" of course not. this is the east village after all. if you're looking for that sort of experience try the upper west side or better still your local i-hop back home. but definitely don't go back to old devil moon, there will be less of a wait for us! peace out. Pros: great food, great service Cons: sometimes very busy at brunch
