While I've had a few nice dinners here, I made the mistake of popping in for the "famous" brunch. It was chaotic when we entered, which is to be expected but the service was appalling and much of the food came out cold! We were a party of 6 and we all got our food at different times. One of my friends did not receive his burger until the rest of us were almost finished and the bun was fully burned on the underside while the meat itself was cold. The exasperated waitress seemed put upon when we asked about the elusive burger. "This place has really gone down the tubes," is how my neighborhood friend summed it up." While some portions were generous, the huevos rancheros were barely enough for one. Tasty pancakes but that was really about it. With so much good brunch available in the neighborhood, it's a mystery how they can get away with overcharging for such a celebration of mediocity and bad service. Boo! Stop resting on your laurels & get it together!
Pros: good non-brunch grub
Cons: snotty waitresses, SLOW service
