If you have ANY sense of style PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE do NOT set foot into Astor Place Hair. Times are tough and I didn't feel like paying $60 for a trim, so I thought I'd try a place to get cheap trim between cuts. I knew I wasn't going to get a great cut, but I mean this place was ridiculous. First, I asked to cut my sides with scissors and NOT the razor. He said it was not possible bc my hair was too short. My las cut was 3 weeks ago and the previous guy used nothing but scissors. What a liar!!! He then used the razor, but listened when I said not too short. He did not maintain the style of the top of my hair. He just cut straight across and ruined whatever work my last stylist did. I was not expecting much, but I thought a simple trim wouldn't turn into a waste of $15. Pros: Cheap Cons: A monkey could cut better hair
