I have to say I agree with the majority of recent posters here. I went in to inquire about a trade plus cash of my gun for a new one. First off they offered me $100 less than the other 2 places I had been. While there, I wanted to buy a box of .380 ammo. They were out, which is not unusual recently, so I left and drove out to Ammo Depot in Caddo Mills. I liked what they offered much better, but they were out of the weapon I wanted. No problem, they will call when they receive more. I also bought one box of the ammo I could not find at B & S.
I went to the range the next day and shot the ammo I had purchased, so dropped back by B and S again when I was by there. They now had the ammo I was originally looking for back in. $$ 99.99 a BOX! FOR THE VERY SAME LOAD I PAID $24.99 AT Ammo Depot. I gently, (this IS a gun store) told the owner I would never darken their doorway again!
Ammo Depot is only 20 minutes east of Garland, and very well worth the drive!
Pros: Knowledgable salespeople
Cons: price gouging and arrogant
