I got a good recommendation on Doug Turner Plumbing, so I went to them as my sole source for plumbing work on the home remodeling project I'm engaged in. When I first contacted Doug, he came in to check things out. He was able to suggest some corrections to the work I had done, as well as make recommendations for things like counter tops and fixtures, which were very good.
When the individual came out to do the actual work, he got right in and did the job. I found him very informative as to what he was doing. And when he was through, he left the place very clean. He was also very conscious of safety, which I appreciated. He wore safety glasses when appropriate, and had a fire extinguisher standing by when doing torch work. You hear stories about plumbers burning buildings down, so the safety measures were a large comfort to me. And all the work turned out pretty good.
From Doug Turner Plumbing, I received a job well-done, at a price I would have expected from my research. With Doug you are going to pay for a good job, but any work from a handyman, while it might be a little cheaper, won't be nearly as professional. With Doug you know you will get good work. He has high standards and very good qualifications.
