I moved to San Diego about 2 years ago. I am an unusual customer in that I have 22 animals. Horses, sheep, goats, cats and dogs. My livestock vet (Dr. Perry, who is also wonderful) referred me to Dr. Young. I have never had such a wonderful experience with a vet. Just to relay one experience, our beloved dog is 14 years old. She had was very sick and Dr. Young had to refer me to an oncologist, internist and surgeon. I did not spend one dollar with his clinic and he followed up on every test and called me to assist through the difficult process of determining what to do with a senior pet who had cancer. Additionally, I love the vets he referred to me to. He knew their qualifications and skill level. We decided to have the surgery and our girl is doing fantastic. She healed beautifully and is at the top of her health for a senior. Dr. Young, along with his team of Michelle, Angel and Laura always know who you are, remember your pet(s), and care about them for you as family. I can't say enough about this practice. Over the two years, I have had many great experiences at Discovery Valley Animal Hospital. Dr. Young really cares about you, your pet and your budget.
