My Trailblazer was failing to reach operating temperature. I made my own diagnosis of a stuck thermostat. After purchasing the parts to ""do it myself"" I realized that the thermostat placement made the job more than I wanted to tackle.
I dropped in on Ben White Automotive on a Monday morning, and they were able to answer my questions and offer the labor at a competitive price. The technician took the time to check for engine codes and confirm my diagnosis before beginning work. The complicated job was completed in a reasonable amount of time and for exactly the quoted amount. The vehicle now warms quickly and operates exactly as designed.
My only quibble is that the old upper radiator hose was reinstalled rather than the new one that was provided on the passenger floorboard. Rather than return to the shop, I completed the simple exchange myself.
I recommend Ben White Automotive South for the great attitude and competence of its employees coupled with fair prices.
