I had an experience with Cedar Park Jewelry that would keep me from ever going back in. I took a piece of jewelry in recently for an insurance appraisal and was informed that the piece had a value of $15,250.00. I understand the insurance appraisal is going to be higher than an appraisal for resell. However I went back into the store a few weeks later just to see what they would give me and was told $1250.00. I didn't sell the piece then but went back in one week later to sell it and was told then that they would only give me a little over $700.00. I asked why the drastic drop from one week before and was told the diamond was smaller than originally quoted and the piece was an inferior piece. Very disappointing experience. I won't be back in and will share the experience with as many of my friends and family as possible.
